Sharing

SharingCover

Sharing represents the extent to which users exchange, distribute, and receive content. Users are connected and drawn to a social media site by the shared object. For instance photos are the object of Flickr and careers; the object of LinkedIn. Firms must evaluate what sharable object their audience has in common, and the degree to which those should be shared. YouTube did not originally have terms of use, but people shared content that did not belong to them.
